KÜP titled "Walks" is embedded in an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme that explores the artistic and social potential of collective walking as a form of conscious spatial appropriation and situated research. Drawing on the recent practice of peaceful protest marches by Serbian students, the program examines how slow, attentive journeys can help redefine a place by revealing invisible cultural traces, forgotten narratives, and alternative cartographies.

The course is divided into two phases:

(12.3.–13.3. + 16.3.–17.3.2026) An initial virtual phase serves for theoretical contextualization and the collaborative development of research frameworks through online seminars and an experimental "virtual exploration" between the cities of Lyon, Vienna, and Belgrade.
(20.4.–24.4.2026) The central physical part takes place in Lyon and consists of a series of collective walks from the city center to the periphery and back. The focus is on the immediate, bodily experience of space and overcoming barriers such as language, unfamiliarity with place, and the difficulty of translating this multilayered experience into words and narratives. The program aims to initiate a reflection on the role of art and artists in public space and to open up new perspectives for artistic engagement in contemporary urban contexts beyond official or illegal practices.
