LA MUNTANELLA - OBSERVATION POSTS IN THE PARC NAZIUNAL SVIZZER
The “Parc Naziunal Svizzer”, located in Engadin, Switzerland, is the oldest national park of the Alps. The park dedicates its efforts to the conservation of nature and the minimization of human interference.
To ensure visitors follow the rules in this unique area, park wardens watch the region. The project reacts to the need of the park wardens for a mobile shelter that can be used in remote territories and is light enough to be carried by one or two individuals. The pneumatic shelter can either be attached to tree trunks or pitched on the ground. If mounted between trees, the fragile forest floor is protected, making the shelter correspond to the national parks nature conservation policy. The air-filled structured insulates and protects the shelter from wind forces.
